its 2012.. .. one of my resolutions was to clear up my amazingly messy room.. n my cupboard.. but.. it has yet to be done.. sobs..  n after 2 weeks.. of seeing 2 docs.. im STILL coughing.. tsk..  cough cough go away.. pineapple tarts r waiting to stay .. n melt in my mouth! 
reluctant to do my FYP. reluctant to go teach tuition later.. n reluctant to move at all.. 
inertia is great on a sian n pms-sy monday..

warning. this is a scarily long post with loads of pics.. haha! recapping some of the random events that happened in year 2011 =) . 
first pic.. fran n 99.. eating at clementi mall.. when francis would still laugh n talk to me.. sigh. i realli hope that he would go back to his usual self n not hide in the room always. lucy may bark at him all the time. but that doesnt mean that my mum n me dont care about him animore.. i miss my brother.. hopefully in 2012. everything will b resolved. 

haha! serious face.. ate at epicurious a long time ago.. we found e food. soso only.. the hollandaise sauce was tasteless.. n not b nice.. the nicest thing was the potatoes.. n maybe. erm the watermelon! HAHa

my mum n her fetish for durians... eating the whole thing by herself. 

e day we went to mustafa with celestal n parrot.. n bot papadams to fry! yummy!

o so long nv see joon hoe liao! went jb to eat seafood one fine day ! haha 

n yea! we did our vertical marathon once more in 2012! 

our failed attempt to eat 10 different burgers all over singapore! we probably only accomplished.. 6? cant rem 

this one is quite recent.. where i brot him.. ok he drove. but i led him to N & B. the place filled with memories for sajc peeps 

n we went malacca! drinking starbucks cos its cheaper there! yes. so gian peng. but nvm la. cheap good ! 

the ritual of tea drinking must be passed on forever! 

eating with tingma in jp! durian stuffs! love to end meals properly.. when u eat a meal u nid to end it with a fullstop.. like a sentence. n to end the meal.. u eat sth sweet =) 

this was taken last feb.. just a yr.. n so many things have happened to her. .but still i hope her smile remains.. for naughty n sweet little lenice.. 

played for SAB.. in republic poly.. i rem scribbling the notes for 1812 while benji was conducting.. omg lor. must count n transpose to treble at e same time. is horrendous 

n not forgetting the wonder website of alldealsasia.. which helped us decide where to eat.. n save $ too! 

when lucy was slightly smaller n younger.. n wont attempt to jump on my bed whilst in my room.

met up with them a lot last yr.. which was great! hopefully we can make an effort to always meet at least once a month! cos the 4 of us seems to have endless things to talk about! this pic was taken prob b4 april? cos had to meet them to get them to write a card for rena's bdae

managed to bring the kids out a few times this yr.. n wh n i went their house too! while wh taught jasmine tuition. n i .. erm.. just sat there n played with the kids 

aiya. im so boriing i know.. my fav places n food.. only got a few.. toast box! yey!! n its JP de TOASTBOX.. =) stick with e familiar.. haha! boring but. whatever.. 

after gg to the mint museum for toys.. went to eat liu sha bao! my all time fav! slurrrppps

haha! ok. when i decided on an impulse to buy fake lashes n put on my eye! cos i saw how pretty my mummy looked with fake lashes for john's wedding.. but nv wore the lashes out.. cos firstly. they r not my real lashes. n secondly. its SO uncomfy! how to rub eye? rub liao sure blind! lol 

brought xiao gou to west coast park to walk walk.. but as usual. i rem she was v naughty.. dragging us here n there. 

for me. its like a once in a lifetime experience to be an emcee in esplanade.. for yatan.. i tink he v pro at this liao.. but still.. i tink this was quite a significant thing for me! cos i nv thought i would do this.. EVER. n i was so happy that ppl bot tix to support me n yatan the emcees for the night =)

ppl like joan who almost never comes for my concerts.. came to support me! touched!!! =) n of cos my mummy weihong etc la!

eating her fav fishball noodle in 5 tou.. its soso only lor. but she LOVES it. 

when we met up quite some time back.. in 313.. some hk cafe.. cant rem also.. but i rem ting ma bringing her sis' polaroid! n wasting it!!!! HAHAHAHA

band bbq that night.. =) oo ting ma still had long hair that time! but i still tink she looks prettier with short hair! 

probably one of the worst days in 2011.. but luckily there was alexis there to talk to me =) although dunno when can see her again... 

engine meet up in 2011.. ate steamboat in suntec.. kind of miss talking n crapping with alex.. n listening to derrick dexing mingfeng talk too.. 

n yes... i went for exchange to HK! met this grp of wonderful ppl there! cant believe i actually managed to fill in forms.. send emails.. transfer my grades.. cos all these are stupid little tasks n v ma fan one.. cant believe i managed to get through it all n go for exchange b4 ending my uni term... no regrets! yea! 

went frasers hill with the car club ppl.. quite a short n enjoyable trip.. DESPITE the fact that fraser hills was SO freaking boring n COLD! it was so cold that my lungs hurt when i breathed. n yea. so smart to wear shorts. *slaps myself* 

n this yr.. made pineapple tarts! =) so next yr.. order from me k!

eating at manhattan in jb.. everything seems so much more wo hua in jb! haha!

yes.. this is the face is give when u realized that.. ur popeyes set DOESNT HAVE E BISCUIT! huh..-.- e biscuit is my fav in popeyes. ok that was last time. cos now their standard is dropping. lovely chicken strips r being stripped n becoming skinnier n smaller.. the batter is getting saltier... even the biscuits r also getting a tad too salty.. n they no longer give maple syrup. instead they give strawberry jam with the biscuits.. boooo 

but anyways.. to celebrate 39 months tog!!! which i tink is no easy feat.. we went to visit the titanic museum! not bad. even got free guided tour inside the museum which was good. albeit in chinese.... haha! bt at least instead of looking at boring artifacts. the museum came to life when the guide narrated e story together with the items in the museum..  posted this pic.. cos i though it was rather retarded looking...


tada! at the entrance. cos inside cannot take pic.. why lei? its not because u will spoil e artifacts.. its because they want u to PAY to take pic.. tsktsk. money money money. money facessss $$$$$

o n that day was a take public transport day.. so we took the circle line to dakota to eat at old airport road! n yes.. boring me went round to find a caipeng stall.. tsk. hawker centres v hard to find cp stall. always zichar here zichar there.. n o.. tried the famous lao ban dou hua.. queue so long.. wonder y so nice.. yuan lai.. singaporeans like to eat highly sweet, custard like, a bit more bouncy kind of dou hua... but i still prefer nice n old school N&B n the original tau huey lei.. but o well. lao ban dou hua. is .. not bad la.. not say fantastic that i would wan to q to buy it again. but. apparently million others in old airport road market seems to think otherwise. almost every table u walk pass.. there is a lao ban dou hua on the table. haha! 






o.. job update! haha! come visit me!!! 
haven got to take a pic of the place where i'm working.. called dessert cup.. 
its located at raffle city B1.. opposite to paper market.. or near gong cha.. 
the cupcakes there are gorgeous.. sometimes i always think that things that look so awesome probably wont taste good.. cos their aim is just to look good. 


but when i tasted "tokyo geisha" which is a green tea red bean cupcake with nice green tea fluffy cream on top.. omg. its so nice! the cream on top is so darn good! tasted like nice smooth creamy green tea.. well haven tasted the other cupcakes yet.. 


n each time i see the two bakers.. jason n chef chung baking.. i feel like baking too! =)
 n so i baked a banana choc muffin and made some chocolate cornflakes thingy.. took pics of them but haven got time to upload.. both tasted nice! ok. damn bhb.. 


its kind of tiring to work there cos must stand damn long for $6/hr.. but ok la.. parttimer not stress also. full timer so stress.. still must answer boss is the sales not v good. siao one. no one come means no one come lo. haha! explain what.. .. poor full timer..  anyway.. rizel the filipino full timer is really nice.. haha! she quite funny also.. n e chefs also quite nice. cos i usually just stand there n stare at them making cupcakes.. if i were them i would b irritated! haha!

got myself a part time job at dessert cup. even though im just part of the retail there.bt really hope the bakers there can teach me abit here n there .. =)
sometimes.. 
just by looking at good food. i feel so happy! 
some days. i like the taste of plain dry butter cakes to go with a nice cup of teh gao. it just brightens up ur mood!

n somedays.. i just like to end the meal with a nice n sinful choc dessert which feels your mouth with this wonderful sweetness n bitterness all together. who cares about the calorie when with it comes enjoyment.


                             n my all time fav.. pretzels.. be it the big nice bread kind or the small crunchy biscuit kind. i love it! the huge grains of salt makes it super yummy. n the nice taste of the tough that differs from other breads make it stand out even more. many ppl find the pretzel v salty.. but.. it tingles my tastebuds just e way i like it.! pretzels! i love u! 
n lastly.. cinnamon bread.. kind of like it.. reminds me of the good old days in sec 1 n 2 with joan raymong and weiting.. when im always cheated or dragged or willingly accompany them to woodlands for their 3rd lang classes whilst i wait in the canteen. n usually b4 going there.. we will pass by causeway point where there used to be this nice cinnamon shop on the first floor near the entrance that smells so so good.. n i;ll buy one or two n eat while waiting for them to end their german class..  haven ate it for a long time..! love it when its not overly sweet.. n when its the bread kind.. dont like it when they make it v pastry like.. v croissant like.. yucks. its a bread for god's sake.. 

n o.. haven mentioned my fav drink.. green tea latte from starbucks.. if it doesnt cost like near $7 per cup. i'll drink it everyday. seriously. this is the only drink that is worthy to be juxtaposed with my lovely teh gao xiu dai. =) 

just by talking about food n all makes me happy already. jumps in joy (in my mind)
