clara is from hk! studying summer school, thinking that all the students attending this would b slack and all, and it would be easier for her to score well, but.. o well, there are some chao muggers out there in this class too! like our gay friend.. and the other girl is jessy is from China, but studying in Illinois..

tsktsk.. transnational ppl.. they are everywhere! its kind of weird when everyone is speaking in a different accent but manages to understand each other! HAHA

is it a fashion statement to look super skinny, scrawny, n unhealthy on purpose?
to deprive the body of food when it hungers.
to control this human desire for food by pills. or simply by sheer determination.
to deprive the body of the nutrients that it needs.
to deprive love for your own body which is deeply undermined by the love of looking stick thin and presumably gorgeous by many?
its kind of disturbing the extent that people want to remain or to transform themselves into a person thin. conforming to norms.
wait
norms?
is it normal to not eat, on purpose
or to skip proper meals n snack on small stuffs in hope that one day when u look in the mirror
u can hardly see urself?

maybe its time this so called norm is realli transformed into a real "norm"
to be thin doesnt equate to being healthy
if one wants to be healthy but yet stay in shape
shouldnt one eat a balanced diet, rich in the nutrients and fibers that the body requires to function properly and to engage in exercise. u do not have to starve to make urself feel good and pretty.
u do not have to tell yourself not to eat so that people will look in awe as you are able to clad yourself in size zero tops and bottoms.
afterall. what's life if you deprive yourself all sorts of pleasure, just so . u could look .. slim or .. maybe.. stick thin.

n maybe the rest of the world could help
by seeing that fat people, can be great people
can be happy people
can have a happy family
our lives are not determined by our sizes.
if men cant accept fat women n solely adore skinny women
den..
men.
i guess all of u should go on diets.. should stop eating too.. since if u expect that of women, why cant women expect that from u?
its what's inside of one that matters.
so why are these being overlooked by many
integrity? morals? joy? love? kindness? patience?

when rena came to cuhk for a night to stay b4 vee came to hk! haha! cuhk is beautiful! n slowly but surely. i tink the mozzies don like to drink my blood n bite my flesh animore.. lol!

though started off rather badly

somehow. getting used to the hk lifestyle
the ppl ard.. hall life.. n thank god i have a great roomie .. miss exotic vee!
met new friends from my "traditional chinese thought" class.. next week going out with them for dinner!
went out with vee n renling (our new friend) to eat shop walk talk laugh!
got to shop a lot .. but i decided.. from today onwards. i will NOT SHOP till maybe when pipor come.. cos.. i tink im spending money.. too fast too furious. hah!

cuhk is a rather pretty campus
but
its inbuilt with like MILLIONS OF MOZZIES! that bite me n is continuously leaving me with more new red swollen marks.. n leftover dark red marks that r scarring my legs.. :(
